Micro-needling is a minimally invasive procedure with minimal downtime, that stimulates collagen naturally utilising a “derma-pen.” Collagen is the protein building block of the skin, that gives complexions that youthful, plump, firm and dewy glow.

Remodelling collagen is the main benefit of this treatment, but improvements can also be seen in skin tone, with increased firmness, renewed skin texture, increased brightness and radiance, with visibly reduced sun-damage, hyper-pigmentation and acne scarring.

What to expect

After the skin is thoroughly cleansed, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to minimise pain and discomfort; the skin is then sanitised. A single-use and disposable titanium “derma-pen” tip, with diamond tipped micro-needles, is passed over the skin thoroughly and a specially formulated serum applied to the micro-channels to boost the skins regenerative capacity and/or target a particular skin condition or concern. A dense hyaluronic acid gel will be applied on top pf the serum to enhance plumpness. To finish, a specially formulated post procedure mask is applies to sooth, calm and cool the skin. A mild redness will appear for 24-48 hours after treatment. Avoid heat inducing activities, direct sun exposure, self-tanner, tanning beds and high intensity exercise or activities. Avoid make for 48 hours after treatment. Detailed aftercare will be given at the consultation. After care instructions and products will be given after each treatment.
